Alhamdulillah, in complete support of their countrymen, the brave, professional and patriotic armed forces of Pakistan repelled the aggressor.
2. Each year on 6th September, we remember our Shuhada with great pride who rendered the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that the rest of us live with peace and honour. We also salute those veterans who returned home to tell their sagas of courage from which we continue to draw strength and inspiration.
3. Today, I once again assure the entire nation that, by grace of Allah Almighty, the aerial defence of Pakistan is invincible. Well-cognizant of the fast-changing security dynamics, Pakistan Air Force stands committed to its mission with singularity of purpose.
The latest link in chain of victories secured by PAF in Operation Swift Retort on 27 February, 2019 has yet again proved our will and capability to remain the guardians of our blue skies. Indeed, the enormous support and affection for PAF by each Pakistani show the nation's trust, which has always stood by its valiant armed forces against all odds.
4. On this special day, we show solidarity with our Kashmiri brothers, who have been living under the darkening shadows of sufferings and rendering supreme sacrifices for over seven decades. We stand by them in their indigenous and just struggle for self-determination.
5. May Allah Almighty give us the strength, courage and vision to prove equal to our nation's expectations (Aameen).
